Trip Overview
Annapurna base camp trek is the most admired trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Having two weeks of the itinerary, trekkers can explore the theatrical sceneries of the massif snowy peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range, which are accompanied by the green forests and terraced hillside. The ethnic culture of the Gurung communities and their hospitality make your trek a lifetime memory.
Trek to Annapurna base camp embarks from various entry points. Our recommended itinerary begins via Nayapul while trekking continually through Ghorepani and Poon Hill. The views from Poon Hill and the sunrise attractions are spell-binding. Walking through the dense forest of oak and rhododendron offers a unique natural exploration of the Annapurna region
The landscape and waterfalls are incredible. Splitting from Ghorepani Poon Hill trail, it leads you through the stone staircase trail and passes through the ethnic Gurung villages such as Chhomrung, Bamboo and Dovan. The alpine region via Machhapuchhre Base camp and ultimately at Annapurna Base camp.
ABC is situated at 4130 meters in an open bowl shape, surrounded by the Himalayans from three directions. This amazing sanctuary offers dramatic Himalayan panoramas along with an eye-catching sunrise view in the morning. It becomes outstanding in the winter with snowfall that keeps the surroundings spectacular.
March to May and September to November are the best trekking seasons for Annapurna base Camp. Adventure High Pass operates the trek with the required TIMS, entry permit, and professional guides. Please, feel free to contact us for more details about the trek.
