Trip Overview

The Everest Base Camp Trek and Lobuche East Peak Climb combine a visit to the base camp of the tallest peak in the world with an ascent of Lobuche East Peak. All levels of climbers, from beginners to experienced climbers, can participate in this amazing climbing trip. It exposes you to some of the most well-liked activities in the Everest region.

One of the top climbing locations in Nepal is the east peak of Lobuche. It is 6,119 meters above sea level in the Everest Khumbu Himalayan range. This summit is beautiful and has many climbing options. Sherpa Ang Gyalzen and Laurence Nielson completed the first ascent of Lobuche East on April 25, 1984.

The trek follows the challenging Everest Base Camp route. Exploring the environment alongside the area's diverse wildlife and rich vegetation is an unforgettable experience. Along the trip, you'll pass across charming Sherpa settlements. You will be fascinated by the locals' unique cultures, traditions, and way of life, as well as their delicious cuisine.

The trek starts in Lukla and progresses to Namche Bazaar, the bustling and crowded entrance to Mount Everest. Following several Khumbu villages, including Dingboche, Lobuche, and others, we arrive at Chola, a 5,420m-high pass. After passing by a rhododendron forest, a riverside, and other beautiful scenery, we move towards Everest base camp.

From the Everest trail, we can see other mountains, including Makalu (843m), Mera Peak (6,476m), Island Peak (6,189m), Nuptse Peak (7,855m), Amadablam (6,812m), Shishapangma (8,035m), Gosainthan (8,013m), Cho Oyu (8,201m), Lhotse (8,516m), and many more.

After taking in the mountain views and snow-capped peaks, we travel to Kalapathar, which brings us quite near to Mount Everest (8,848m). We proceed to Lobuche Peak, which is close to Everest and has two summits, one on the east and one on the west. We'll be scaling Lobuche East. This mountain is demanding and difficult due to its high snow slopes and rocky ascent. Thus we need the knowledge and experience to climb it.
