Trip Overview

Muktinath is a holy temple for Hindu and Buddhist religions. Hindus trust the Home of Lord Bishnu; for Buddhists, it is the highly holy land of meditations and monks. The highlight of this particular trekking is the sacred Muktinath temple, a pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Muktinath temple is situated at the height of 3,660m. The two-storied structure of Muktinath temple shows the co-existence of Buddhist and Hindu cultures; the lower storey is a Buddhist Gompa, and the upper storey is a Hindu temple. This trekking explores a lot of beautiful places in the Annapurna region.
